The Blue Box's Journal, 26 October 2013

Last night was so much fun! I tried to eat well, and I did-at first. I was there for 6 hours, so I think my body went into grazing mode, and when I got tired I may have snagged another cupcake or rice crispy treat to keep me awake. :)

But today is a new day and hopefully I will be better. I'm going out to a fall festival at a local farm, so who knows what temptations await. :P

I am sure whatever it is it is delicious!!! You can eat it for me too. I am really trying to be mindful about how much weight I gain this time. Don't want to kill myself later trying to lose it.

It was so much fun! I thought of you the entire time, because everything there was minimally processed, organic, GMO free, hormone free-it just screamed clean eating. :) You are really good with watching what you eat, I don't think you'll have a problem with weight at all.

I hope not. I just love real food. Had turkey and noodles with mixed veggies over mashed potatoes for supper. It was really good. That sounds like a good place to be eating! What state do you like e in again because here in Kansas everything is battered, fried and covered in sugar. We need to move to a healthier place. Lol. When we were at our towns festival they were selling deep fried twinkies. Yuck! Heart attack on a stick.

I live in South Carolina. :) I HATE fried anything, you can't taste the flavor of the food! Only the fried batter. My fiancé ordered deep fried bananas as a dessert someplace and yuck! It tasted like fried batter with hot mush in the center... Now if it was Bananas Foster I would have been all over that!

I like a few fried foods. But you and I seem to share the love for ice cream and nut butters. I decided the best way for me to live with ice cream is not buy it for home. If I want ice cream I will get some once a week when I go to town to do my grocery shopping. This works best for me. Also today since I love pancakes with peanut butter and a smidge of syrup. I did half peanut butter and half PB 2. Not quite as creamy but still delicious. Plus I was able to cut about 75 calories doing that. Lol. Kinda reminded me of a peanut butter cookie.

If I did not buy ice cream for home I would be broke, because I would be at the ice cream shop every night! :) I love PB2, but you're right, nothing can beat the real nut butters. When I was in college I used to make myself a Belgium Waffle (because we had a couple of machine to make them) topped with peanut butter and chocolate chips. Oh the melty goodness! ...I shutter to think of the calories I was consuming...
