Getting through the weekend is tough! My husband snacks all the time, and its hard to watch and cleanup after him. I had some of this low fat, low carb wheat bread with breakfast. 1 slice 4carbs.. toasted and then scrambled eggs with green pepper/mushrooms and provolone. was quite tasty and I felt like I was cheating but its wasnt so bad.. spinach salad for lunch and chicken salad for dinner.

I bought some wheat bread with fiber too. I cant wait to try it toasted with peanut butter on top, but like you I will feel like I am cheating. It is hard with your family eating stuff in front of you. Tonight on the way back from the grocery store my husband and kids were eatings Snicker Bars and cheeto's. To top it all off I was in the passenger seat so I was in charge of opening and handing out the candy bars. What AGONY!!!! I feel your pain sister!!!

I understand that pain i had to watch my children eat there mcdonalds and then they were so full the couldnt eat it all but I was a good girl and threw it out but man was it hard.

When money is tight it hurts to throw away food, there have been times when we didnt have much food, and to spread little money for grocerys you cant buy the things that are good for you. The low carb items are definatly a bit costly. Thats a habit in itself
