I'm turning off the diet for a couple of weeks. Saturday morning I leave for New York, which means a whirlwind of eating in some of the world's best restaurants. From there I fly to London for several days, where I'll be eating all of my meals at restaurants. For the last couple of days, I've also had fabulous and off-the-records dinners.
I won't be recording what I eat or caring about calorie goals while I'm gone, though of course I'll be using my newly-developed smart eating skills. I'll probably collect a couple of pounds while I'm gone, but not more than that.
