Ceebee's Journal, 10 November 2010

Whelp, I have been having a hard time as of late finding time to get things done. Too many activities, parties, gatherings, celebrations.. good grief.. and the scale is showing it.. and so are my pants.. :P There is no way I am going to balloon back up to 283.. but I know I am on that path.. so the last week I have been trying to journal what I eat.. I have read journals (no time to comment).. and today I rode my bike for 30 min.. I was not able to keep pace the whole time but I was on the damn thing for 30 min. peddling. I am considering getting a gym membership for the family. It is a smallish gym but they have a pool with free time hours from 2 to 4 or 5 depending on the day.. so I would be able to take the kids swimming.. I started smoking again.. and yesterday was our 9 year anniversary and my husband asked me if it was my last pack. I told him yes.. and it will be. Well good luck to everyone. I hope we all have a good day. :)

Swimming is great, I take my girl once a week to the wave pool and have been able to make it into a really great workout, so great that my abs actually hurt afterwards. It also gives you some great family time! Just keep hanging in there, once the holidays are over everything will fall back into place. Its great that you are trying to keep up with everything, I am sure you will not go back up to 283!

It's tough to find time to exercise. I know. I work full time and take a night class in engineering. Even if you can squeeze in 30 minutes of cardio a day, it will make a big difference. I mostly just turn to the on-demand TV cable and load a cardio exercise workout. It's pretty effective, even if it seems kinda lame.

Wow I wish you the best of luck!! My Bestie wants to smoke because her health insurance rates are going up, and I am prepared to tell her I will do it with her... once she is ready. (which to her probably won't be much motivation because she smokes waaay more than I do) BUT GOOD LUCK FOR SURE!!! Gym Memberships for me are a waste.... That is how I have felt in the past, but recently I started thinking how good it would be to go and play with my son, he is 7 even an hour of basketball is less time than watching a movie and waaay healthier =) .. So I too may get a gym membership!

Ceebee, I am glad you are being honest in your journal. On days when I've been ashamed of what I ate or did, it's hard to admit it. But the awareness is going to help you get back on track. And you will! I totally understand not having time to comment on others' journals... geez, you have kids, I don't know how you have time for anything. You are still my buddy and I want you to succeed!
