Waiting for Hurricane/Tropical storm Isaias to finish doing the wind and rain here. Got lots of exercise moving deck plantings off two decks. Moving cast iron deck furniture wasn't much fun either. Looks like a jungle in here with just small paths to walk. can't wait to take it all back out! Eating was way off yesterday. Hate even logging it. Too bad there isn't an easy "Blew It" entry button :)

Hope you are okay, I understand there are large surges. Stay safe and don't knock yourself out about yesterday. Today is a new day my friend! 💛

Thank you Shir! Living alone has its advantages but right now between the storm and Covid its not much fun.

I know kattay, no hurricanes here yet, but 5 months of self quarantine alone is becoming trying at times. I'm mostly okay, but sometimes it gets difficult. (((HUGS)))

Thanks wcurtin! We are good here. The storm has moved up. Some counties east of us didn't do as well.

Yes, Shir. I haven't been in a store since March 18. Have gone to my daughter's a couple of times, 1/2 mile from me. She enforced the social distancing because they are all socializing with friends, working, etc. Went to my son's house once to see my new Gg. Seems I'm the only one in isolation.

Granddaughter.

Got all my plants, etc back out on the decks. Now I'm deciding what I'm going to lug down the 20 steps to the trash bin so I won't have all that to move with the next storm!

Glad to hear all is well. Sorry that you are all so isolated. . I cannot imagine . Hope you are doing ok with that.

Thanks mcchimento for your support. I hear New Orleans is beautiful . I feel for you when major storms are in the gulf, especially since Katrina with all that flooding and damage.

Thanks wholefoodnut. Usually being alone doesn't bother me. However, even I'm getting tired of not being around people. I did enjoy going to all the family functions, ballgames and restaurants. Even grocery shopping.

Kattay, I haven't been in a store either, or anywhere I have to get out of my car except to get gas a couple of times, and a wedding in a park a few months ago. But my grandson just got a job at NASA and my son is coming to help him move into his new apartment this coming weekend, and I'm going over there, but will wear a mask and keep social distancing. We're going to make it through this, people have endured worse; hold on my friend. 💛💚💜

Congrats to your grandson Shir! Awesome that he got a job at NASA! And yes, we will get through this. No doubt, I've been through a whole lot worse.
