Staying Active

I'm an islander. I belong in the water. I haven't seriously hit the lanes since high school. Today I hit the YMCA and put in an hour and a half. It took a few laps to fall back into good form and stride, but I truly realized how much I missed it.

Get Heavy

in college I weight trained heavily. I hit the gym while I was there and put in a good 45 minutes. It felt good to be back in that environment. Lots of cheerful guys shooting the shit while ripping up the muscles.

I think I'll find time to go every day.

Throw Back

As a kid, I spent every summer day at the Y. I was even a junior lifeguard. It was a big deal for my dad that we went. Fitness was just second nature to him. It wasn't about getting fit, it was about having fun.

Today, in spirit, my father was with me, and boy did we have a blast.
