I really need to get back to the habit of journaling..hoping today is a fresh start.
I have managed to lose all the weight and bloat gained from the last two weeks of travel and partying. Taken up gym workouts again, and monitoring carbs and points (altho more guesstimation at this point rather than anal-retentive numbers' game!).
This morning didn't have regular breakfast, and had 1.5 servings of almonds instead!. I did have brunch later..coffee with cream and a homemade faux meat/bean curd stir fry with LOTS of veggies. Almost caved and got one of those delish looking pizza-salad-topped thingies that had at the work cafe, but remembered my promise in the nick of time. Actually, what I remembered was that it has been HARD to lose this weight from the last week, and a single splurge could prove rather expensive. Can't--don't want to do that! Same deal with the salty nuts I was about to get from CVS; instead picked up plain, unsmoked, and unsalted almonds.
Water content has been a little low, but planning to fix that soon. Also planning on a good workout later, including a couple of sets of weights.
Lots of work stuff to catch up on...some partying coming up this weekend, but will plan to be vigilant and stay away from carbs and alcohol. I can do this! I know I can!
