Ceebee's Journal, 27 October 2010

Well I did it last night. No grazing no late night eating.. It was pretty ok.. I feel like I turned a corner. I did have some hot tea (decaf) at like 10 pm. I just have to ignore all of the tasty garbage my husband is eating.. and focus on what I really want.. which is a healthier body. :) I know I will get back that feeling of control and last nights success really did make me feel better. Some times all you need is a little success.

I have alot to do this evening with karate class for my kids and a mandatory meeting for my daughters preschool co-op.. I have decided what I should do dinner wise.. I like to be done eating by 8 pm.. but the meeting will not be over till probably 830.. I will not have time for dinner between karate and my meeting.. Karate is from 6 to 630 that only gives me enough time to drive home and drop off the kids and then head off to the meeting. I dont want to eat before karate.. cause I will never make it from like 5 pm to 8 am. So my plan is to have a snack at 5 and then have dinner at 830 and not worry that I am eating an hour or so late... I just know that if I eat dinner before 6 that when I come home after the meeting I will want to eat again and will go over my calories.

My man does the same thing! He's at school mon thru thursday, but on the weekends, every night around 10pm, he either makes a pizza (for a snack!!) or a HUGE bowl of icecream. And the first thing out of his mouth... "you want a bite babe?" NOOO!! ugh, so ridiculous.

Good for you trying to plan ahead. I'm finding that helps me because my schedule is kinda nutty like yours. It's nice to feel like you have things under control because we all know it's not that way all the time, so enjoy it & stretch it out as long as you can! :)
