I'm back after 67 days. Can't believe it's been that long. I followed my diet relatively well until the first of September. My mom was sick and hospitalized and I gave into eating the hospital's cafeteria food. Ten days later she passed away and never got back with the program (that was exactly a month ago today). I'm pleased that I only gained .8 pounds.
Today my place of employment started a "Biggest Loser 2" program to encourage weightloss. This is the 2nd session. I didn't join the first session because I felt self-conscious; most of the participants were skinny 20 year olds. This time I decided to "just do it"!
I'm doing something a little different, however. In addition to dieting, I'm using my faith in God to help me. I'm putting Him in charge of my mind so I can make good eating and exercise decisions. May my story be for His glory!
