The truth is you will most likely have gains on any diet plan that you go on. It's part of the journey. Our bodies are made up of 60% water so many things can factor in to making the scale go up and down. If you ate too much salt yesterday, the scale can go up today. Other factors include: sore muscles from exercise, medications, sickness, inflammation, stress, lack of sleep, hormones, etc. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight. The most important thing is you find a plan you can live with. Consistency is key!

Thanks Suzi161, I am going to give it 100% today. I have problem eating the veggies. I am so tired, too tired to do much. But I am not giving up yet. Thanks for the advice.

Hang in there! Sometime it takes a few days to get in the rhythm - you can do it! Drink lots of water and try to fill up at each meal.

Dancindeer, you are doing great! I have always eaten small meals but I do find the protein keeps me full longer. The cravings are still there since others in the house demand those carbs. But I am not throwing in the towel just yet! Thanks again for your encouraging words.
