The weight loss comes with a daily headache for some reason...Most days it goes away after I eat, but today it's lingering. Would love advice from anyone who experiences this.

One group I belonged too called it the Induction flu, and said make sure you are drinking plenty of water and add some broth and salt to help replenish our electrolytes. Here is the article they suggested reading. http://www.livestrong.com/article/381434-what-is-atkins-induction-flu/#ixzz2WmsrCZHG

You've probably read in the book about some of the changes in your body when you switch over to primarily buring fat....aka Atkins flu. Assuming you're not on a diuretic or other medication where salt is contra-indicated, the solution is to drink 2 cups full sodium broth, take 1/2 tsp. salt, or take 2 Tblsp regular soy sauce, daily, until you progress in the program to about 50 net carbs. In my own case, I only needed the extra sodium for about a week (not all the way to 50 NC), although I occasionally supplement sodium if I've been outside working in very high heat. I wouldn't necessarily have expected you to still have headaches at this point, so monitor these closely and don't hesitate to consult with a doctor if they persist....could be a symptom of something else. And, be sure you're keeping yourself properly hydrated (64 oz. of fluids or more). Any chance you're having less caffeine?? That could bring about headaches, as well. And, finally....someone on site had a problem with headaches and it turned out her stove was leaking/producing carbon monoxide!

Sandy I'm so glad you said that about caffeine. I have been fighting a headache since yesterday. It just occurred to me I haven't had any caffeine in two days!!

Deb, that would certainly bring on a headache for me!
