I am going back to counting carbs, the Tops exchange program wasn't working for me. I think my body isn't used to all those carbs. Anyway I gave it a good try and now I have to lose 8 lbs to get back to where I need to be.
Finally we have a decent day going on, warm and no rain. Yippee! I hope you all are getting by through this epidemic, so far there have been no cases where I live, but the store shelves are just as empty. Everyone take care!

Trying things are good. I am still keto here. Yeah it is nice outside here as well. I plan to enjoy it.

It felt good getting back to carb counting. I didn't have to worry about the portions. It seems like it was a lot more satisfying.

I have read that becoming overweight in the first place is due to an overreaction of insulin response to carbohydrates. To make things worse, as we age our insulin response becomes more disordered. I was following your experiment and wondered about the high number of carbs because when I eat a lot of carbs my appetite really increases. All that is part of that insulin problem. Keeping the carbs low, particularly at breakfast, really makes portion control a no-brainer for me. As you mentioned, As you have said, low carb foods are much more satisfying. Stay safe and healthy!
