Good grief - just figured it out: I have lost almost 18% of myself since January! I am almost at my goal: I want to stay in my 120's for life. At 131.8 I am now less than 2 pounds away. I have often gone rogue, eating all sorts of things I shouldn't. But I pick myself up again and keep on keeping on. I guess that's the way it will always be - in order to maintain my loss, I can never again become complacent. All cheats are wrapped in a ton of rationalization and denial. I think I will need to keep journaling with this web site for a very long time if I am to stay skinny! It will be just as hard to maintain as to lose - I am convinced. That's why so few are able to do it. I'll be running scared for a long time. I never want to go through what I have been through since January again. And I never want to be depressed standing in front of my closet again.

Awesome progress! I can understand what you are saying- personally I am not yet where you are in your fitness journey, got a little side tracked but I'll get there eventually :P- and I hope that you are able to find some positive motivation during your maintenance. While the negative motivation may be effective (seeing where you could end up if you aren't vigilant), I think over time that would be wearing on the soul. Again, congrats on all the work you've done so far!
