Recipe to follow - - - I tried to enter a fruit smoothie recipe into the cookbook but couldn't find a listing for Crystal Light, so had to give up. I made a yummy smoothie from a recipe I found somewhere online and although it states that it serves 1, my daughter and I shared it - a full 8 oz glass each. The recipe also says it is 1 pt..so therefore I had a glass for only 0.5 pts. I will enter it into my mastercook later, to find out if that is true. Here is the recipe for anyone who wants to try it:
Fruit Smoothie
1 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened blueberries ***I used almost 2 cups of a frozen berry mix 1/2 packet of single serve size Crystal Light orange flavor ***I used strawberry orange banana as that was all I had 1 packet of splenda ***after tasting finished smoothie it was a bit tart for me so I added more splenda
Put berries in blender and let stand 1 minute to thaw a bit. Dissolve splenda and crystal light in 10 ounces cold water. Stir well then add to blender. Blend til smooth. Makes 1 serving (I got 2 full servings)
