Jillian Michaels just kicked my butt! But what a wonderful way to start my day. Today I'm going to drink lots of water and eat all the veggies I want, nothing else just veggies. I did that yesterday and I feel great. Have a blessed day all, stay focused, stay positive........Win!

What kinds of veggies are you eating? Cooked or raw?

There is a Chinese buffet near my house. They have lots of veggies, now who knows what they season them with, but its very good. And Hey I'm only eating veggies, I feel great! I also cook myself at times, but I need to learn how to season my veggies without using salt seasonings. Do you have any suggestions?

Mrs. Dash makes a fair few no-salt seasonings, that's a great place to start-they've got spicy, southwest, Asian types (I think). All kinds. If you roast your veggies, olive oil, sea salt and fresh ground black pepper are awesome. Also, infused olive oils are easy to make and add a lot of variety-I'm going to experiment with lemon infused oil. Lemon juice is quite good on veggies, but getting the lemon flavor to blend is sometimes difficult, and infused oil disperses the flavoring better. You can infuse oil with garlic, bay leaves, thyme, rosemary-any herb or spice you like. Or you can sprinkle a generous palmful over your veggies as they're cooking. If you like to grow your own, get a windowsill size pot, one of the long skinny ones, and plant a bit of each one you like-you can snip off bits and they grow back.

Wow Colly great advice regarding the oils, I will try that. Regarding Mrs. Dash, my pantry is full of her seasonings, I don't know.. the ones I have don't have that kick I'm looking for. But I have not tried all of them, so I'll try some new varieties. Roasted veggies with black pepper, um sounds great. Thanks again, your feedback is greatly appreciated;-)
