Oh, my foot hurts so bad today. For the last couple of weeks the area on the outside of my foot, midway between my heel and toes has been bothering me some, feeling sort of bruisy when there was pressure on it or my foot was moving. It didn't really affect my walking and was more of a minor annoyance. This morning I was moving something over with my left foot and my right foot, right in the area of the pain I've been having, there was a tremendous deep POP. It scared me, I've never had my foot pop before (my actual foot, not my toes). There was not a horrible amount of pain during the pop itself BUT since then, the area of pain has gotten much worse and spread up towards my pinky toe and down toward my heel, even aching over the outer front part of my ankle. My toes move without added pain, and I can bear my weight on it so I don't think it is broken but I am limping significantly on it and the ache in it is really bad (and I am someone accustomed to pain).

It would be such a huge production for me to be able to go to the doctor. I see no way I would be able to do it for at least the next few days. There's no swelling. I've done some research online and think i may have dislocated my cuboid bone. Wrapping it in an ace bandage seems to make the ache worse. It is really hurting.

What did ever happen with rhis pain you had? Did it just go away on its own? I am now experiencing this with running on the treadmill.
