Fritzy 22's Journal, 28 December 2019

Took Bobby on a walk for an hour and a half and managed to get a picture of the lake in between 2 lots. Unless you have a house with a view of the lake you can't really see the lake because all the houses and trees block it. My house has no view, I am in the woods pretty much.
Didn't eat so good yesterday. Good news is, no gallbladder pain. Bad new is, I shouldn't eat poorly because gallbladder pain is always a possibility if I over eat or eat a high fat diet.
I've been craving French toast and/or store bought cookies that I can dunk in milk. Sometimes at the end of the year I will indulge in foods like that and then start all over being good January 1st! We'll see if I give in.

I live in the city (Tampa, FL). I have been craving a trek in the woods; nature is good for the soul and brings down stress levels. You're very lucky.

Beautiful photo. So sugar cravings. Have you ever tried just a spoonful of sugar? I have some sugar cubes - when I think I'm craving cookies/etc., I'll get one of those. It helps me determine if I'm really wanting the sugar or the cookie.

FatLoss - I live in a rural area, but they built a huge gated community back in the 80's with a man made lake. I think there are 1800 homes all on lots of at least 1/4 acre. Lots of homes by the lake and the golf course, but the more affordable homes are out in what I call the woods. I have 1/3 of an acre and at least 12 to 15 trees. Lots of deer and wild turkeys. Bella - I have a cup of hot chocolate every day made with Ghiradelli hot cocoa mix so that usually takes care of the sugar cravings. My cravings happen when I just get something in my head and am not satisfied until I have it. I think I'll be able to get through today and tomorrow, but I've asked my sister about going out to breakfast on Monday and I will go grocery shopping as well.

Peaches - it is pretty here. I just need to get out more and walk the neighborhood. Some days I just don't feel like dealing with the hills! Peeper - I think I give in more than I resist. I've made plans to go out to breakfast with my sister tomorrow. So I'll have the French toast (only, not the meal that comes with eggs and bacon!). Hoping the cookies and milk idea will leave my brain. Especially since I'm up over 2 pounds today.

A good betafood supplement can help with gallbladder health combined with diet. I used to suffer from gallbladder attacks DAILY. No more. I've been attack-free for over a year.

Kristina - I had a couple gallbladder attacks about 5 years ago, went to my doctor who ordered an ultra sound and then told me I had gallstones and to try to eat a low fat diet. I went at least 5 years without another episode then had 3 "attacks" in a 2 week period. Went to a doctor who ordered an ultra sound and referred me to a surgeon. I can't even begin to imagine having daily attacks. I want to see my regular doctor because he wasn't available before. I want to see what he advises. Do not want to go through that pain again!
