I have been having such a difficult time staying on track this week! I've not had a full blow out week of cheats/treats, but I have broken at least one rule a day. I can usually get away with this on Sundays, the day after cheat days, but yesterday was a particularly long day and I was late getting home, so we just grabbed some tacos because they are cheap and fast.. The day before I took my son to a Christmas party for his preschool, and ended up eating a couple of cookies and kolaches there. Monday I found I had forgotten something I needed for dinner at the store, and so I had leftover omelette (dairy). And Sunday, not knowing how this week was going to turn out, I had leftover birthday cake from my daughter's birthday the day before.
I am only allowed to break Slow Carb on Saturdays. And I know it is the holidays, but I usually TRY to stay on track. I feel like I am slipping. Maybe because last year I was pregnant and carefree about my diet? *sigh*
To my credit, yesterday my mother and I started cookie baking and I only had a little piece broken off a cookie, and only because my mom made me. I resisted all other temptation, including chocolate kisses from our blossom cookies.
Taking it one day at a time, and hoping to do better! I should be home much of the day today, and will be able to avoid/resist temptation. I hope I haven't totally screwed up my weigh in for the week, at this point, but I am mentally preparing myself for the worst. It would be unfortunate, because today is day 100 of MM100, and I was expecting one more good weigh-in to cap off those results.
