Greetings Fellow FS Warriors! I haven't been doing very well in keeping in touch. I am grateful for the email notifications. The factory isn't very busy these days, and that means that everyone knows I have plenty of time for meetings - or at least they think they know that. So, I pretty well spend my days trying to look interested in something that someone has come up with that I have been preaching for 5 or 6 years, and will probably see someone else repeating the same pitch in another 5 or 6 years, if I haven't called it quits by then. It's not that they aren't good ideas; it's just that when times are tough, they're afraid to spend the money for the improvements, and when things get to running really strong, and the money looks good, we can't interrupt production to make it happen. Sound familiar? If it doesn't, you're one of the lucky ones.
Well, my stomach is swelling up again; I think it's something I ate. :D It's a whole lot of something I ate. I just need to get serious about my eating and exercise plan. I think I'm just waiting for some of the planets to come into alignment, though I can't tell you which ones they are. I just know the gravitational forces have drawn me to the pineapple upside down cake and pizzas, and I just haven't had the will to fight it.
I'm taking next week off. I'm hoping to make a big dent in the kitchen renovations, get my universal gym welded up and get outside and get some things done. I've been paying for a YMCA family membership for the past 15 years; I probably ought to just go and use the darn thing. I can do the treadmill thing at home, but I need to get in some strength training - get buffed out - instead of bulging out. My shirt buttons are becoming missile hazards again, and someones going to get hurt one of these days.
Well, I'm sorry I haven't stopped in more to talk with my buddies, but I'll get a round tuit sooner or later. In case you haven't seen one of those, here's a picture of one. Let me know if you've seen one.
