I did everything wrong at lunch today!
1. Went to La Salsa 2. Did not order my usual of 1 shrimp taco 3. Decided to get a "salad"
"Salad" cost me 800 cals (almost ALL of my entire day's allotment)
What burns me is I know better. I ALWAYS ask for dressing on the side whenever I order a salad. Today I forgot (really?) and decided to eat it anyway-how bad could it be? Can you believe 50g of fat bad?
I did avoid the tortilla strips and I threw away almost all of the avocado. They put 1/2 of a whole avocado on this thing....so I think that saved me some fat and cals but not enough to get me out of this hole. I actually considered barfing to get rid of it. That's how stupid I feel.
I know I know I will have to go burn it off (90 mins of running or 4 hrs of walking or 60 mins of swimming, yikes). How long will it take if I just sit on my butt?
It's criminal to sell a calorie bomb disguised as a "salad'! At least with pizza, you get the carbs, fat and calories in an unadulterated, "pure" and satisfying form. I could have had 1/2 a frickin' pizza: sob!
Okay done now.
