What is going wrong? (And you DO know how to get back on... BUT sometimes even just standing still calling a stop is progress too.) Okay, you know something is wrong, do you know what it is? Or what is stopping you? Identify the problems and maybe the FS friends can help you with possible solutions.

I cant seem to stick to the plan I chose. I did IF before...then stopped (winter)🙈. So now I wake up resolute to stick to 16:8 (no breakfast) but around 10am I feel so hungry..end up eating.

It is a battle to get into the rhythm of any plan...But maybe try at first to fast for shorter periods? Listen to your body, eat if you must, but cut out snacking. Then over time try lengthening the period of fasting. Say week 1 is 10hours, week 2 is 11 hours and so on. (Fasting doesn't work for me, probably because of too little discipline and glucose/insulin sensitivity, but I eat at set times and try to cut out any snacking in between. Doesn't all always work, but I try for an 80 / 20 balance.)

Jax I do 16/8 but I have coffee with milk during the morning. Not loads, one cup around 8 and another around 10 and then lunch is at 12. I find the coffee helps fill the gap and I have not seen negative impact on loss when I do it all correctly. I still calorie count my meals as well. Hang in there!

I've been fasting since October and I'm set for life I think. what I've found is that what you eat for dinner (or your last meal prior to starting a fast) is really important to maintain the fast. like. I can't eat pasta the night before and not be STARVING the next morning. so eat foods that really satiate you before the fast. fizzy water helps to fill the gap as well as being zero cal. for great information on all things fasting related, check out Thomas DeLauer on YouTube. he is my guru 😊 sometimes watching his video's provides me with a motivation boost because he explains things so clearly

Check out Siim Land on YouTube as well. I follow him as well as Thomas Delauer. He seems to be more fasting focused than Thomas Delauer and gives better tips when it comes to fasting. In my opinion. There are a few others like “ the fasting fat man”. Who is on the same journey as us. John is a big inspiration and has lost half his weight through fasting. He would definitely motivate you to get back on the wagon. If you like the kick up the butt approach, you can check out the “snake diet” channel, Cole Robinson can be very annoying with his fat shaming approach sometimes, so I don’t really watch him that much... All the best ☺️ and btw, I’m struggling sometimes. Just keep trying. Never give up!
