NankeS's Journal, 11 August 2019

I cheated HORRIBLY, not the whole day though. Started at dinner, marinaded chicken 🚫, salad with avo 🚫, pineapple🚫, feta🚫, corn🚫 and salt & vinegar salt🚫. Followed by a Vanilla Coke. 🚫 Orange popsicle🚫, bar-one🚫, CRAP load of sugar coated macadamia nuts🚫, after that cinnamon coke🚫 and then Pringles🚫 followed by clemon gold juice🚫, a Croissant and a packet of manhatten senties🚫.
I should get ready for a gain Monday morning. I feel so guilty. 😭 I almost made it to a month, only had 3 days left.

So I have just started with the calorie counting thing, as I am not losing wait and actually have no clue how many calories I consume a day. My day went great until the evening when we had friends over. And then it all went to wrong🙈 various gin and tonics, chocolate cake an doughnuts 🍩, so I went well over my recommended calorie intake, you just don’t realize how much you eat, until you keep record!! So starting a fresh today as well, wish me luck!!

Hey ! Don’t be so hard on yourself , consistent change will get you across the finish line, it was my cheat day an I smashed 3 slabs of chocolate so please don’t feel bad 🤓

Is that all...…Thank God you left the fridge behind!😜 But on a serious note, i wouldnt beat myself up over it. You will come to realise this jpurney is filled with ups and downs,good and bad,but as long as there is more of the good than the bad you will slowly edge your way to your goal. Cheat days are compulsory on my journey,otherwise i would be on a diet…which we all know hardly works for most of us.

If it's not in the house I can't eat it... that's my personal rule in terms of the treats I have (I also don't call them cheats because I don't like the negative connotation) they are all accounted for .. it doesn't always go according to plan, but if you're honest with yourself by still tracking the bingy days, then you'll learn a great deal about yourself and can only grow from the lesson x

Don't stress. We all have a life to live and want to enjoy it. We should take this journey One day at a time and start fresh today. When did you start your weight loss journey ?

Chrs10-Well been trying for some time now, I guess I wanted to lose some weight but never really REALLY committed. So I bought a CSN month package and started the 15th of July....lost 7kgs thus far before I messed it all up. 😡 Only had 6kgs left and my journey would have been “completed”. So basically I only released how badly overweight I was in 2009. If I lost the last 6kg I wanted too, my final weigh in would have been -33kg.
