YEAH 50 pounds. I know a lot of people don't record the gain. I tend to log it because it holds me accountable. 23 to go, whoot whoot you can do it!

Lizzy - You are so right! If I had recorded the gain I could be recording the loss. Am going back to twice a week weigh ins.

I was recording daily at times and it drove me nuts to watch it yo-yo. I have gone to recording only on Sundays but I keep an eye on it throughout the week. I can't just go on how I feel physically.

It is way too easy to not focus on the good part of your journal entry today, but really, it is a struggle for all of us. Maintaining is a struggle too, little up there + a little down there = maintenance. Buffy, 50 pounds is a lot. Try toting a big bag of dog food around for a couple hours, (irks me that those keep getting smaller, but the price keeps going up), LOL, gives me funny images to think about anyway, but I think you get the idea of what I am trying to say...You done good, you are doing good & you will continue to do good!

50 pounds is alot to celebrate about! Your honesty about unrecorded made me laugh, because I am the same way! Yo-yo weight on the scale drives me crazy and tends to break my spirit although its accountability~lol

Well Buffy, you can always go back and add an "historical weight" entry, showing that "gain" so it will now show the loss. Just gotta choose which is the more motivating. Frankly, I think seeing that 50-pounds down part every time you go to your page is a BIG MOTIVATOR!!! And, that's just part of your overall weight loss journey, too. Congrats on finding your mojo and keeping it going!

YAY for YOU! You are doing wonderful... I wish I would have kept my loss off, my mistake was not staying on FS and interacting. I could kick myself. LOL But, I am back, and once again treating myself with care. OH, one other thing, in regards to measuring 50 lbs, try carrying around one gallon jug of something in each hand. I think that is about 17 lbs total. And then, imagine the dog food bag!
