Meal prep!

Both Chris! One pan each for me, hubby and kids shared the big one. We all have leftovers that are already weighed and logged. Unfortunately he can’t seem to get under 20g of carbs. He’s holding steady around 30-50g most days. Still dropping 2-3# a day the shitehead. Grrr. 😉😝

Thanks guys. This is just a thrown together stir fry. Made hubby the usual amount and he ate 3/4. Normally he eats it all! Kids ate half of theirs if that. I ate 3/4 of mine and I’d scaled back to about 2/3 if normal. Trying to make Keto friendly meals but it’s impossible using veggies. Two meals a day and veggies keep throwing it up over 15-20g per meal. He’s barely getting his 2100 kcal in too! For me I just wanted some soy sauce lol. Have to have something to put it on as drinking it from the container would set a bad example. I think I must need salt as I’ve craved salty foods for the last two days.

Normally it’s just 30-50g carbs. I’m not sure on net carbs. I can’t find his phone to look it up.

Found it. 29-33g net carbs. 35-52g regular carbs. Not including yesterday and today as he had a protein shake and birthday cake today lol. Still losing weight though. Thinking about buying him ketone strips.

He doesn’t eat much dairy except his protein shakes and the occasional glass of fat free milk. He’s big on meat but needs something with it. So far it’s tomato’s and avocados. One of each per day I think. Then mostly just chicken quarters. He’s gonna get sick of chicken soon.

Ok thanks! We will see if he looses on 170g of carbs versus his usual 300-500g.

@Anorag I personally am picky so only add veggies I like. I’ve added green beans, broccoli, baby corn, carrots, bell peppers, onions, snap peas etc. For the others I add mushrooms, asparagus and sometimes things like squash. All depends on what I have on hand, what the garden is producing or what I feel like that day. You could also look for riced broccoli in the frozen section. I doubt they’d have it if they don’t have fresh or frozen though. The bags of mixed veggies could work but I prefer to slice mine and those are hard to hang on to!

Bok choy!! Dammit. That’s what I forgot. I kept thinking I didn’t need a cabbage head I needed something else. It was bok choy lol. Ah well he liked it anyway and this way I can make him some more crack slaw if he wants. Hate the stuff but he loves things like that.

Thanks guys! This is mostly gone BUT if you let me know an ETA I’ll gladly throw together some more lol. I weigh and cook individually so will have a list of weights and ingredients ready too :). Love doing this stuff. Can’t do too much ahead or the kids say I do nothing and they hate leftovers all the time. Two days of meal prep and cooking isn’t the same as an hour a day over the stove I guess 🙄.

that looks good. how would you measure the calories for something like that. do you make extra and store it?

I weigh each ingredient for each persons skillet. I either eat it all at one sitting or divide in half and eat/log half each day for two days/meals. It won’t be exact. Today I’m having the leftovers and they are logged on yesterday’s log. Looks like I ate nothing today and lots yesterday lol. But it averages out in the week so that’s all that matters to me.
