SturgeonQueen's Journal, 20 July 2010

Well, I got two new Wii workout games today. I felt like I needed something fresh to get me into the routine again. So I bought the Wii Fit Plus (had the normal old Wii Fit, but the Plus is all new and different) and then the Golds Gym Cardio workout. Both of them track calories. So tonight, I did the first day of my 6 week challenge on More Active, and then messed around on the Wii Fit Plus. THEN the stupid clock changed over to midnight and the Wii reset and I lost my progress... And man, you don't burn very many calories doing some of those Wii things. Oh well at least I know now... but I stopped after it reset because it was kinda annoying... Didn't try the other game today.

Tomorrow I'm helping at a fish fry for the Illinois Soybean Association. Hopefully I will not have a chance to eat, because I will have to be my lovely charming self the entire time... LAWL. Anyway fried fish, I don't want to eat it... man. I'm having enough issues with food lately. Today I did alright... I'll probably snack tonight, but I have fruit I'm looking forward too, and peaches from a local farm that need to be eaten before they go bad.

So, I did up the time in the workout from 28 minutes to like 40 something... even though the last 20ish were REALLY low calorie burn on the Wii Fit... i was doing a bunch of games and just trying stuff, I don't really know what the highest calorie burn stuff on that game is yet.

Soooo yeah. That's about it. Still up on my fat butt. Damn that pound.

Hey, at least you got right back into it! (give yourself some credit :) I know what you mean about doing the work and not getting the calorie burn, though. That's why I usually end up doing the same two DVD's - the cardio max one followed by the banish fat, boost metabolism one. When I put max effort into them, I can get nearly a 700 calorie burn sometimes. Or maybe it's like 650, but still. But it does take a long time! Nearly an hour and a half, and who has that kind of time! Well...beside me, that is. Glad to see your back. I didn't even get on the scale again. I know I'm up and yesterday's bad food choice were all the damn pistachios I ate. I didn't measure them, but guessed. So who knows...could be even higher than I recorded. But I'm blaming them for the belly bloat I've got today. My story and I'm stickin' to it.
