NTech's Journal, 19 May 2008

So here I go, gotta get back on the wagon. I've lost nearly 20 pounds since my heaviest weight at 175, 7 of which have been with Weight Watchers. I joined that about 10 weeks ago or so, but the past few weeks I've been lazy. But I am eating much better than I used to, even when I am lazy. I think a lot of my weight loss has to do with cutting pop out of my life. I used to have at least one can a day, and that was after I had "cut back." But now I can't even drink half a can without getting a stomach ache. So that's good I guess. I've been getting more sleep too and studies have shown that that can help, and heck, sleep is one of my favorite things, so I'll gladly use that in my favor.
I went shopping this past weekend for clothes to wear for my engagement pictures and I actually could buy clothes at The Limited and The Gap. I was/am pretty excited about that. It's been a long time since I have walked into those stores. The guy at the Gap asked if I wanted to get a credit card, I said no, and he asked why not. I told him that I've been losing weight and have finally lost enough to shop there, but that I wanted to see how long that would last. He laughed, I laughed, and he didn't pressure me any more.

What a great story! :-D I hope this site helps you be more accountable. Even when you fall off the wagon, at least you can type in what you did here and see "how bad" you did and be reminded of it the next day. lol Anyway, I'm glad you joined this and maybe we'll help keep each other on track!
