Funny story... (not really lol)

Hubby couldn’t make the gym so I decided I’d do some things at home. 20 lunges, 40 squats, 20-50 each my version of rows, curls, and a few others I don’t know the names of. Halfway through another set of squats and my legs cramped lol. Literally standing there mid squat and couldn’t go up or down. So I had to sit and stretch them out (just now) and it still hurts. 😖 I see a hot bath in my future tonight!

Yeah. Not so funny 😂 I had a similar story. Great squats at gym, went running. Got home and felt so good, decided to squat. Knee gave out a little, limped around for a couple days. Then my back went out yesterday. Feeling better today. Pledge to take it easy this week 🤪

My leg is hurting. Not from exercise. But I'm soaking in Epsom bath anyway.

@love2educate, that’s doesn’t sound like fun. my knees were cracking but didn’t give out. Thanks for sharing. Now I know it shouldn’t hurt still when I go tot he gym in a couple days. :)

@Chris, unfortunately we don’t have any otters around here. Ooohhhhh water 💦. Oops 🤪. I had water and coffee this morning, 16 ounces of tea this afternoon and I’m still working on the 16oz of tea from the workout. Also have a partial bottle of water here but I opened it last night so not sure how much I’ve drank from it today. I’m getting bad about water again lol. I’d think the 32 oz would’ve helped because it’s half of my daily ‘needs’. I’ll try to do better!

Ladies, Thanks! I’ll feel better after sleep I think :). I’ve stretched, paced back and forth and had a very short job to the car and back (50-100 ft each way, bad at guessing distances lol) @dawn that’s something to consider. I don’t drink Gatorade anymore because of the useless calories. @princess, I have a love/hate relationship with squats. I do enjoy them but hate the knee cracking, hip catching (something’s off since my first baby), muscled cramping (very rarely) and sore legs afterward. I figure if they cause all that then they have to be doing some good lol. I think squats was the reason I lost on my legs in the beginning. Inside thighs didn’t budge but outside, front and back lost fat. @Bella, hope you feel better soon too! I’ll probably be soaking in a bath soon if hubby left me any hot water.

Sumo squats target inner thighs. That’s what I was told. I do them and definitely feel it, but yet to see much change. Worse area ever for many females? Right? Or is it just me? LOL! Don’t think I’ve ever heard of me with inner thigh issues! 😜

I haven’t heard of men with that issue either! Not fair 😣 lol. Sumo squats, refresh my memory... is that where your legs are a bit more spread out and you hold a weight? That’s what I did yesterday but kept the feet at shoulder width. If so then maybe my 8# weights aren’t big enough. Just did it with one yesterday as I haven’t done squats in awhile. Didn’t want to hurt myself lol.

Let us know if you start seeing a change on the inner thighs. You’d have tons is us women following your workout to see some results :).

I will say that I don’t like how my thighs slap(per) together. The older I get, the more inner thigh issues I seem to have 😂
