Shanelle05's Journal, 08 January 2013

The last few weeks have been very rough... I'm not feeling in the healthy mood. I want to lose weight but I'm tired of eating what I'm eating. I'm getting tired of microwave meals.. I think I'm going to try a "clean" diet where you only eat fresh foods, nothing processed. I'm getting tired of processed foods.

I think my medication needs to be either upped or changed because some of my old symptoms are coming back... I go back in a few weeks for a follow-up so I'll talk to the doctor then about my med.

We're thinking about moving. We currently live in my hometown. Until about 2 or so years ago we had lived in the hubbies hometown. We're going to move back to his hometown... I'm ready to be out of here. I'm having issues with family and I'm ready to live somewhere away from them. The issue will be commuting. I don't really want to drive so far back and forth to work. Now it only takes around 20 minutes each way. After moving it will take around an hour each way and the amount we spend on gas will go way up....

Cooking from scratch is always better for you, less weird chemicals that they put in processed foods and you can change up the recipes to fit your tastes. It does take a little more time but I always cook up a big pot of soups or stews and freeze them in single serving sizes for those days I don't feel like cooking. You might even start to feel better as some poeple have allergies to those preservatives that they put into processed foods.
