jphale72's Journal, 06 January 2013

Today has been good overall. I did not feel too deprived of food though I did pass up some Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream that the rest of my family ate this afternoon. I also really wanted to eat some mixed nuts. I rested mostly from my hard racquetball games yesterday but did manage to put in 20 minutes on the elliptical. My hope is to make sure I spend at least 20 minutes on the elliptical if I do not play racquetball. I must continue to be in the routine. I believe I have all the head knowledge to reach my goal of 90 pounds by the end of 2013. However, having the will and more importantly the faith in God to see me through is much harder. I know God is faithful in so many other areas of my life but have yet to fully embrace him in this area of my life. He deserves my best and will love me regardless. I pray that a year from now I can read each of my journal entries and celebrate what great and mighty things God has done not just for me but everyone that I touch in one way or another.
