kmartdollie's Journal, 20 December 2012

I was so glad that I went to the gym today. I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and ran 4 miles. I was going to do abs and arms, but my stomach was dying - I ate a big salad, drank a lot of decaf, drank some diet soda and ate some sugar free candy. The combination of all of those things sloshing around in my stomach was too much! Tomorrow I am going to try to take two classes back to back - FIERCE and Muscle Pump. Lots of lifting weights, lots of cardio. I think it would be very good for me. Then I will try to run on Saturday, and take another class on Sunday. That's very ambitious but we will see what works out. I have been doing a little better with food the past three days, which is good. I still have yet to string together an entire week without messing up.

What gym do you go to? I don't belong to one yet, but I was thinking about it once I move next week. I like the idea of the different classes you can take.

Twins, I go to the YMCA. Here in my town, Wichita, KS - they have beautiful million dollar facilities and it only cost 50 bucks a month for a family and I pay 37 dollars a month for a single. If you have that in your town, I highly recommend it. The Y has TONS of classes at all ability levels, cardio equipment like ellipticals, bikes and treadmills, an indoor track, plus the perks I really love - hot tub, warm rec pool, cool lap pool, and a sauna and a steam room!
