Settled inside today and enjoying my Monday off work. It's lightly snowing outside and I have a view of the frozen lake, and a number of dear grazing on the wild grass and bushes on the hill just below my property. The deer are my daily visitors and it just doesn't get much more peaceful than this - the village is quiet and deserted in the winter months as only a handful of people live out here year round. I am going to work on making some Christmas wreaths today and just enjoy the warm and cozy feeling of the coming holidays. In just two weeks I will have a stretch of 17 days off and I can hardly wait for that, to be able to travel and visit family and just relax and enjoy! I might just have to bake something later on as well! ;)
