I was looking for recipes on here and noticed everything is listed as kcal. I'm not understanding how to convert that to calories? Any help is appreciated.

The "calorie" we refer to in food is actually kilocalorie. One (1) kilocalorie is the same as one (1) Calorie.

So if a recipe says it's 375kcals it's also 375 calories?

Mmlvr - That's correct. From the wikipedia article on calorie:
The Calorie (large calorie or kilocalorie – symbols: Cal, kcal), also known as the food calorie, is defined as the heat energy involved in warming up one kilogram of water by just one degree Celsius.[1] Note that where the context is clearly about food, nutrition and exercise the term often appears without the capital C.[2]
