Thursday with a busy work day ahead. Good because it keeps my mind busy. Keeps me from dwelling on negative thoughts.

I woke up really hungry this morning. So I decided to honor my hungry and have breakfast first. Hopefully I can still squeeze in some exercise. I didn't do any formal exercise yesterday. Thought I'd check in here while I enjoyed my morning coffee.

Yesterday was a day full of meetings. They went well and it was a blessing I didn't have to drive around to see clients as I was really feeling sad.

Today is the opposite. Oh I still feel sad but I have a day full of clients! I am not as overwhelmed with the sadness today. Swelling on possibilities rather than death sentences.

Weight? Well it did dip which I'm pleased with. Hard to get really excited. I'm still frustrated with me that I let it go this high. I am determined this holiday season I will have losses NOT gains. I will enter the new year at a lower weight not higher!

I am grateful ...

While I still woke up several times last night I did sleep much better.
My husbands determination to fight the diagnosis not give into it.
The undying faithfulness of my Father above.
Work I enjoy most of the time.
This place where I can express my thoughts and have found many dear friends.
And of course coffee!

Kindness and gratefulness I know are keys for me. Also staying conscious and mindful of my choices. They are intricately intertwined and what works for me. Really the only way I am capable of making healthy choices for myself. I simply love to eat too much!
