I just finished my first sets of strength training in a long time on the Total Gym. I didn't quite finish, only did 2 sets of the last routines. It'll take me some time to get back to where I used to be. But feels good. Expecting to be sore tomorrow.

Thanks Mom. 2 days later and I'm pretty sore, I guess it took a while ti set in. I skipped last night due to Valentines so will be hitting the Total Gym tonight.

That is what happened to me, too. I was sore the next day but the day after that, I could hardly move. Ha Ha!

I'm sending you a pat on the back. Way to go, my friend!!! Are you going to be able to get out and walk during lunch? Jim, do you use weight training gloves? I buy mine at Walmart. They will keep you from getting calluses and also help protect your wedding band.

Hi Brenda! It's a nice day here so hopefully I can get outside, will depend on the temperature and wind. Recently I've just been taking laps through the aisle of our warehouse at lunch. I don't use gloves but it would probably be a good idea. I'll check them out if I get a chance this weekend. The grips on the bars can be uncomfortable sometimes.

Walking anywhere counts as exercise. Sometimes, when the weather is terrible I walk upstairs, then the hall, downstairs, then the hall, repeat. I feel like a giant gerbil.
