Good morning. Last day in Paris... Well, not counting tomorrow, which is our day to go home and which is dedicated to that. Today is the last day to experience the city.
It's almost 5 am. I've been up for hours, having one of those sleepless nights I have now and then. It's very annoying.
I decided to get up, make some instant coffee and go sit in the lobby, so the girls can sleep. In about 45 minutes, the breakfast buffet opens. I'm not sure I want it. Honestly, I'm sick and tired of croissant and baguettes. I did find a whole wheat bread yesterday, and it was a lot more fulfilling. I have some left and I might go for that. Trouble is of course I don't know when the girls will be up.
I'm pretty sure I've blown my RDI every single day here. I am, however, also sure I've burned a lot more calories moving around than I normally would. We've been on our feet, walking, exploring, standing, walking SO MANY STAIRS (TO THE POINT WHERE IT WAS GETTING RIDICULOUS) :for at least 9-10 hours every day. Whether it even out my calorie intake or not, I have no idea. Wife and I are in agreement that we're back on track by the moment we hit Danish soil though.
I have no idea what I weigh but I'm pretty sure I've gained weight. I guess it's expected. I'll just have to deal with it and let it motivate.
It's been the best vacation in years, and wife and I are sure we'll be back. We really like Paris.
Today, I'm thankful for :
- early morning instant coffee.
- Paris!
- another day in this awesome city!
