Day 84!

Wow! it works! It really works!

I woke up feeling full as ever this morning from last nights dinner and just knew I had gained weight.

I stood on the scale in disbelief and had to check 3 times in a row that the scale wasn't playing a trick on me.

It's true, another pound down. With little to no exercise except my regular walk to the train before and after work, the reason is likely due to reduced calories, reduced carbs and increased Human Growth Hormone released after a certain number of hours fasting. HGH naturally kicks in at around the 18th hour of fasting. It helps to trigger the release of fat cell energy for the body to use. Plus, HGH helps by bypass the metabolic resistance triggered by short term fasting and reduced calories. So, weight loss is natural.

I have switched gears this week to try doing a 24-hour fast only instead of 2-3 day fast. I am eating a very hearty dinner with 30-40grams of carbs. I will start to back the carbs down to see if the weight loss gets even higher every morning.

I have been reading that some people either do 18, 24, or 36 hour fast to get the highest HGH benefit. The more I read the more it seems another way to get the biggest benefit could be gained if the arranged feeding time was before Noon daily. The body has the highest caloric need between 12-8pm. Eating before Noon will be sure those calories eaten are burned off before the evening when the body switches to fat storing / repairing mode. I'll migrate to Lunch next week to seperate the two weeks and track if there is a marked difference in weight loss. I should start eating the identical thing as well for the test to be somewhat true.

I have also increased water to 8-10 cups a day and started taking fiber pills in the morning.
