Today I was reading an interesting article about weight gain and how "fun" is to be a women!
"Weight gain is not always steady. Also weight gain is largely a hormonal, not a caloric imbalance. The hormonal changes of pregnancy and menopause can certainly precipitate large weight changes. Trying to battle a hormonal problem with calorie-based weapons is a losing proposition."

Does sound like an interesting article. I think there is some truth to it - but that we still have more control then we realize. I definitely had hormonal challenges and adrenal fatigue that were part of gaining weight in a pretty short time. I went to a naturopath for quite a while and think it helped a bit but wasn’t until I changed the way I eat and kind of exercise I was doing to see the changes I was hoping for. So it can be a combination of many things - and sometimes takes more than one change to see a difference.
