Wegman's had pumpkin bisque today and I couldn't find the nutritional info--I suspected it might be carby so I didn't fill my small cup--boy was it good!! Back it work it looks like I may have had 17 net carbs. Could be worse, I guess! Ate it with a chef salad. This time of year tempts me more than any other, and before I got back to Induction I could not resist any of the pumpkin goodies. I have some low carb pumpkin treat recipes I will try and share if they are good. I made one muffin recipe and it was AWFUL lol.
Today I am grateful for:
cooler weather
baseball
clothes that fit
my first facial (treating myself for finishing the 10K!)
kitties

Good for you for treating yourself! That 10K was a Phanomenal achievement! However, it was a big blow to your body. It is still recovering. Don't give up. We can find low carb pumpkin cheesecake recipes and share. I love this season's foods too, but not all that good for us.

Thank you!! Right, at least I have sugar free syrups to make my realistic gingerbread 'lattes' at home. Mmmm!

I just ordered EggNog syrup and cannot wait for it to come it. I have been making LC pumpkin Pudding -- 1 sm jello sf vanilla pudding, 1-1/2 c unsweetened almond milk (I use the silk which is zero net carbs), 1/2 c heavy whipping cream, 1/2 c pumpkin puree (Libby's is lowest net carbs), 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice -- mix it all up and divide into 4 serving bowls, cover and refrigerate a couple hours. It is a little softer set but totally creamy, fall-flavored and oh, so good. Best part - only 7 net carbs per serving :)

Mmmm the pumpkin pudding sounds awesome, GigiP, Thanks, I will make it! TOFU, I have a cheap espresso machine but more often I just use my french press and make it really strong!! Then I have one of those battery-operated frothers (also fairly inexpensive!)--I put a few tablespoons of heavy cream (1 carb per tbps) in the microwave for under 30 seconds and then froth it, add to the very strong coffee or espresso, add my sugar free syrup and maybe a splenda, and voila! It's very close to the real thing!
