Lisa Kay's Journal, 09 October 2012

I'm sooooo sore after my 10K Sunday but I'm so amazed at myself. Who is this runner girl LOL? If you had asked me four years ago if I'd be doing that I woulda LAUGHED. Feel good today, had to eat some carbs the night before the race but I am right back on plan. In my outside life, I have now had the two foster cats for three weeks. These babies need real homes and I hope they find them soon! I am glad I could help them, though. I shudder to think of the alternative (they were both rescued by a rescue group from shelters).
Today I'm grateful for:
lemongrass iced tea
a roof over my head and HEAT (it's cold!)
my health
my fiance
my new leather jacket lol
