Day 258- Time to focus and get some work done. I really need to put a lot more focus in on work this week. The lists have already started…… The weather has finally cooled off again and for some reason that makes me more focused on things overall. It is the reason I love the fall. Maybe it goes back to the times when we use to gather and prep for the winter months. It also puts you back onto a routine and I like routines just because you know what is going on. I am not a huge routine person, but I do like to know what is going on and when to expect things. When I played football, I had to play offense because I need to know the play to execute it, I was horrible on defense because I wanted to know what they were going to do. Ok, enough rambling….

I pushed myself to get out of bed this morning and run in the cold. After the first mile I was plenty warm, still wondering what to wear when it gets really cold? I am still wearing shorts, a short sleeve tech shirt and a running ¼ zip pullover. I am going to try to run a least one 5K a month through the winter so I need to figure out what I am going to do. I might try the tube sock sleeve thing for race day. My bald head has not been a problem yet. Also, as part of my running training I need to push myself to get back to a 8 min split, I have slacked off the past few weeks and need to get it in gear so I can get a new PR when I race next, (this weekend or next…..).

OK, really kind of funny, as I post this, the ad banner at the top is for a 'cougar' dating site, how did they pick that for me? I don't visit dating sites.........
