I'm home from the doctor. I wasn't there as long as I thought I would be since we went very early. The doctor I spoke to stated there wasn't much he could do since it was just a walk-in clinic but that he could run some tests.. I agree. I thought that if I went to the walk-in clinic they could at least get the ball rolling. I peed in a cup and they took a bunch of blood. He said they were going to test my hormone levels and my thyroid or something like that. He said there was no sugar in my urine so it's not diabetes. He got me an appointment at the regular clinic so I can see a regular doctor because this isn't something they could handle at the walk-in clinic. They couldn't get me in until November 8th I think. Which is why I didn't just want to make an appointment, I knew it would be months down the road. At least now that they've drawn blood they can start trying to figure out what is wrong. The doctor said he'll call if he sees anything abnormal. If nothing is abnormal in the blood work I'll just have to wait until my appointment... I wish it was sooner but I don't have a choice but too wait. I can't go anywhere else. It's a start.

The blood tests will be critical especially in the levels of thyroid and hormones. Hopefully, they are able to detect something and prescribed you the proper medicine to take care of it. God bless you and I hope that you feel better over all.

Great work getting yourslef to that doctor visit! The thyroid is really important - I have under active thyroid and take medicine daily. It is an easy test and easy medicine if it turns out to be thyroid. And, so glad you do not have diabetes. Hang in there.

I'm glad you started the process. I have an underactive thyroid as well and didn't figure it out until I tore a muscle in my chest from coughing so much. I would catch every cold and flu as it compromises your immune system. Hoping it is nothing serious.
