I realized a few months ago that weeks where I had more coffee I lost more weight. More as in 4 cups a day vs 1. I drink my coffee very weak and with 2-3 Splenda packets per coffee cup. 4 packets if I have my really big cup that holds 2+ cups. I assumed this was because of working out as well.
Let’s face it, I’ve sat on my butt a LOT recently and that’s okay. It doesn’t help my weight loss, but I’ve had more family time, gotten some hair bows made, watched my kids play sports etc so the down time is worth it to me.
I recently started drinking more coffee(this week and last) to help break up my cold. I had a bigger loss this week. This leads me to believe that the coffee is responsible for the loss. Caffeine has never affected me much that I could tell. Headaches when I have too much or too little and it does help me throw off my morning brain fog. I put two heaping teaspoons full for 3-4 cups coffee. I’m down to one Coke Zero cherry every other day or so. This 12 pack has lasted almost two weeks now. Kid had 2-3 and hubby said he had 2. There are 3-4 left. So I’ve had 3-4 I think. Also drinking tea when eating out and other low calorie drinks. Anyway my point is that for some reason my weak coffee is helping my loss! Whoohoo! Here’s to daily coffee haha.
