Revaudrey's Journal, 11 September 2018

I'm back after five weeks of vacation. My plan to find moderation failed. I ate and drank like a champ. Am now in a month of "vacation detox" to try to counter the indulgence of last month. I know that this cycle is deeply ingrained in me and the "right" thing to do would be to move from here, with a balanced approach, so I am trying not to get too crazy. I haven't weighed myself to see the damage that I did, but I can feel it. I'm trying to remember that this is a way of life, not something with a hard deadline.
Back to the gym yesterday- it felt good.
In addition to being on vacation, I bruised a rib during my camping trip and that has limited my physical activity for the last month.
