So I am up again.

I am rather confused as I look over these past few days I am not seeing a whole lot different in what I have done and yet the weight has been literally up and down.

I know from past experience you just have to persevere and the weight will come off. I know the exercise piece is really not going to help the losing weight piece but it does help the overall general feeling of health.

I also know that the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect different results.

So far I have been avoiding much in the line of bread and pasta as those seem to be minefields. I have had tortillas in my enchiladas and I did have some ravioli so not nothing! I have avoided straight up sweets. I had a couple of cookies one day but that has been it. No candy, no other dessert.

I am eating more vegetables. I am a bit short on protein. Maybe that is the place to put my energy?? Add more protein. I'll try that today.

definitely need protein and your water weight will change often so that will drive you crazy if you don't look at the overall instead of the day to day. flour products tend to make a lot of people retain water for a few days to overnight. checking weight daily is what most of us do. nothing wrong with that.
