Walked 6.2 miles today. Took me 2.5 hours - what else could I have done in that time? I could have: stayed in bed; sat in the garden; sofa surfed with the remote control; watched a film on the laptop; None of the would have made me feel the way I do right now - proud of myself.
Last Tuesday I walked 4.43 miles and on Wednesday 5.57 miles. The joy of those two walks has spurred me on to try and get out more, even if I don't walk 6 miles. I had set myself a goal of losing 10lbs by the end of August, but so far have only lost two pounds and that's simply because I haven't really been trying hard enough.
