Day 206- Not much to report except I need to focus more. I need to log my food more and broaden my workouts. I have been consistant on my running every other day with a day off after a race. I have not been consistant on a full body workout. I think I am going to DVR a few workout shows so I have something to follow until I get back into a groove. Like all the workouts warn, I got bored with mine and when around family don't do it.

Running- I am taking this weekend off from runninga any races. I did start today doing some interval training during my run. I jogged 1/2 mile to our track and then did half laps at full speed and jogged a half lap. I was only able to do 4 laps this way until I could only jog. I jogged the rest of my run and still got in 3.5 miles. I think I will do this type run once a week until I can get up to 8 laps of this pace. I really want to be able to kick it in gear during races.

I guess am upset that I am not losing weight like I was a few weeks ago. It is fun when it comes off fast, LOL. I will just keep chugging away. :-)

Good idea to mix it up... if the workouts get boring I tend to not do them.

It'll come off, don't you worry. And Diane's right. Mixing it up when you can makes a huge difference.

Mixing it up never hurts. It's nice to have a change. I hope your intervals help your speed.

Just please take the time to warm up and stretch properly as to avoid being a nar-nar like me and hurting yourself by being too aggressive!

Soulnoid - when I was stuck, you told me to change up the exercise and it worked! Take a bike ride, swim, "dance like no one is watching", have some fun and see the calories burn!
