So I fell off the wagon. Really badly. I had an IUD put in and the hormones made me so crazy for weeks that I was emotional all the time! My x factor with eating is emotion, and we all know that celery and baba ghanoush is delicious but it just isn't comfort food. The healthy foods, additionally, are expensive and money has been atrociously tight these past couple of weeks. And so, one thing led to another, and before I knew it, I was eating pasta salad for dinner, pb&j for lunch, and cream cheese bagels for breakfast. The exact habit that caused me to have sugar problems in the first place. No protein, no vegetables, no vitamins, nothing but glucose. The lethargy that came with all of this sugar overloading also caused me to give up on the gym for a couple of weeks.

The good news: it's never too late to start over. Better news: all of that recklessness and I somehow haven't gained a pound. So here we go again. 7 more weeks to lose 20 pounds, I can do it. 6 more months to shed 50.

I'm in it to win it.

Though I think if I make it, I will reward myself with a small portion of cheese fries, when the time comes.
