I was probably overzealous about losing double weight this week. trying to be happy with whatever the number is tomorrow considering I refuse to starve myself and have been eating like an angel. I honestly wouldn't even be ashamed to show my diary to a doctor. progress is slow and I feel like I'm against a clock before I.start work and school. it is so easy to focus on me completely right now. body give me strength.

refusing to starve yourself is a smart thing. losing weight is a process not a race. good for you.

Good for you! At this time in my life, I refuse to make my life journey about a number on the scale. Been there, did that, and wasted lots of time and money in the process. For me, the number on the scale is data that keeps me on track. That's it. If the number is up, I know I need to cut back. If it is consistent, great. It's about how I feel. If I eat something, and I ache the next day, or I can't make a fist, or my face is puffy, or I have digestive issues, it comes off the shopping list. I really believe your own body will tell you what it needs if you pay attention. Now many years into living a lifestyle focused on whole foods and health, and not calorie restriction or macros, the thing I once had to do is the thing I want to do.

Starving doesn't work - you have to eat to lose. It is quality of what you put in that helps the battle
