My chart says 35%BF using trainers measurements and 33% with my measurements. She plugged it in online and said 26.59% and said it’s usually fairly accurate. 101 LBW 37 BF. Trying to decide which direction I want to take this now. Is sustaining 101 or building to 104-105 LBW @ 120-125 easily sustainable? 80/20 seems logical to me as that is the fittest before going into ‘athlete’ which I’ll never be with three kids, 2 of whom are active in several clubs and sports. Won’t have the time as 3-4 hours a week is all I can fit in now and they are out of school!

Also said hydroxycut was fine for a short term boost but to lay off the Splenda 😭. Regular soda or no soda. Unsweet tea or add sugar. Seems cancer survivors have to worry about sugar causing cancer which I knew but I didn’t realize Splenda was so bad 😫. I don’t like drinking calories but it’s sweet beverages or candy.

Also told me that 1200 calories was way too low for me. Cut carbs where I can, up calories to maintain for a bit then cut back slowly to finish off the last of the weight. Let’s see if I can follow that.

try not to freak out over the numbers. it will stress you out. losing weight is one day at a time and avoiding empty calories, eating high quality veggies and adequet protein for your workouts. Normal stuff. you don't need fussy stuff. Honestly. with all the extra exercise you will be getting you will do fine. You got this

I’m a numbers person ;). Numbers are usually more clear than anything else to me. However when dealing with a body that’s constantly changing and not being able to have one reliable method of figuring those numbers on a daily basis well... numbers do lie when you don’t have 100% accurate ones to begin with ;). It’s frustrating, but honestly I obsess. If I obsess over this stuff then it’s using my brain and takes me away from family problems for awhile. Otherwise I obsess over things I can’t change like family attitudes, constantly on the go etc. My counselor said I was right in thinking that my diet, nutrition and exercise were good things to obsess over as long as I don’t make myself sick. But man I’d sure love to have some 100% accurate numbers even if I had to measure daily to make sure they were accurate across the board between devices and hand measuring. I’ve lost 1-2” from my waist and another 1-2” from my hips so I’m going in the right direction. That keeps the obsession healthy and I don’t need to overdo it as I AM seeing progress.

I should ask point out that I like playing around with things. This new scale I bought for hubby will give me some entertainment in the fact that I’ll try all the things recommended like hydrating more and then testing it. It can only help me drink more water ;). (Said as I sit here with a soda that I can’t have until my cup of coffee is gone and this bottle of water as well)

Becc- so do most in my family and my friends lol. One Aunt says I’m too honest and need to learn NOT to tell everything lol. I can fib to avoid hurting someone but on things like this I see no reason to be anything other than completely honest ;). Accountability and all that :D. (My Mom always knew when I tried to lie. If not I ended up telling on myself with a day or two as the guilt ate at me lol)
