im stuck, i hate it !!
dont know what im doing wrong i have bought some atkins shakes and a box of bars a week and a half ago i still have one of each left this is the only thing ive changed they will prolly be gone by the end of this week as much as i have enjoyed them i dont think im gonna buy anymore to see if things change, ive heard people complain about them before i guess they were right
gonna give it hell next week and see

Shari, I have not experienced any problems with the shakes, only the bars. I was stuck for several weeks and yo-yoing between the same 2 stinking pounds. This week I have focused on increasing my carbs and my calories and am finally losing again. Maybe you need to change things up. But I do see that you lost 2 lbs in 3 days. Anything since?

Hi Shari. I don't have access to most Atkins products other than (very expensive) bars so I cannot comment personally about their effect on the diet. However, from the comments I've read, it seems to be that they are produced to satisfy the sweet tooth of Atkins dieters. At 3 grams of net carbs for the lowest carb bars, I'd personally rather have some halved cherry tomatoes with cream cheese on top of them or a couple of scrambled eggs and a small slice of smoked salmon. The bars seem (to me) to be rather poor value nutritionally and cost wise, but then Atkins is a corporation and like most similar corporations they make extra money on merchandising. And marketing is all about meeting what society perceives it cannot do without. I'd rather keep the money in my purse and find something else to satisfy any sugar cravings. Keep focused, don't let things grind you down, tomorrow (today) is another day. Best wishes, Chris x

Ok...I was stuck for a month- that all happened when I went to NET Carbs and using the Atkins Bars. THis is what I have found. 1 shake a day is fine for snack...no bars cause they have a whole day of carbs in each cause your should try to eat no more than 20 carbs a day...TOTAL carbs...and round up. Basically... 3 cups of salad a day, spread throughout the day. Or 2 cups salad, 1 cup veggie. Have 4-8 oz of protein/meal. Try to eat every 3 hrs. Include your good fats but know that heavy cream has carbs. no more than 3 splendas a day. NO nuts till you are close to your goal weight. If you use sugar free metamucil, you have to count those carbs as well. Increase calories can be good, but not increasing your total carbs. Hope it helps.
